Background story

What do you think about when you like single cylinder bikes and have ridden a Yamaha SR500 for years? You want more! Not more cylinder, but more cc, more power, less weight, a really stable chassis, really good brakes, … But you can’t buy such a bike. Modern plastic bikes with lots of electronic gadgets are no alternative. So you have to build one on your own. And after a few years work in your free time, your first custom bike project is ready for a ride – the DR650 ST (Street Tracker).
